ALBANY, NY — Angelina Valente, a multi-award-winning artist, will be the guest performer for the 2026 Capital District Sports Women of the Year Awards Gala at the GE Theatre at Proctors on August 3, 2026 at 7:00 p.m.

Angelina Valente’s singer-songwriter/indie folk is intimate, honest, and deeply moving. With a voice that feels both delicate and powerful, she weaves songs that capture the quiet beauty of life, love, and self-discovery. Influenced by her small-town roots and love of nature, her music blends poetic storytelling with piano and ukulele, creating a sound that is both timeless and refreshingly modern. She creates a captivating, intimate experience that draws audiences in and leaves them inspired.

Angelina has gone from open-mic nights to selling out shows across the Capital Region. Her journey has taken her to some of the country’s most esteemed studios, including Village Studios in Los Angeles and Atlantic Records Studio in NYC. Her latest album, Sing (released in November 2023), earned her three major accolades: Songwriter of the Year, Album of the Year, and Artist of the Year for the New York Capital Region. These awards were presented to her at the Sixth Annual Capital Region Thomas Edison Music Awards on April 21, 2024 at Proctors.
